About Our School

Parent Partnership

This prestigious award from Surrey County Council followed a lengthy assessment, involving documentary evidence and discussions with volunteer parents. At the end, the assessor said we had passed with flying colours! We received a plaque and a logo to use on our stationery. Only a few schools in Surrey have achieved this award, so it is something we are really proud of.

Investor in People

This award recognises our commitment to the development of staff throughout the school.

West Ewell is one of the first schools in the UK to receive the prestigious new ICT Mark. The new quality mark recognises schools who can demonstrate they use ICT to support all learners and all school activities. The ICT Mark is awarded by Becta, the governments lead agency for ICT in education, and recognises the success that West Ewell has in developing a strategic approach to its use of ICT across the whole school.

The award is in recognition of our dedication to the arts - music, dram and art. We place high priority in the development of the arts throughout the children's time with us at school.

Our children have an understanding of global citizenship. We give them the opportunity to have experience of the wider world. We have strong links with a school in Uganda, Africa: Golden Bell.
