Our school is a caring and inclusive community school where all feel welcome. We have a nursery, two forms of entry and a primary specialist centre for children with Communication and Interaction Needs (low complexity.) We are proud to be part of the Bourne Education Trust and work collaboratively with other schools in the primary and secondary phase.

Our school is an exciting and vibrant place to learn and work; it has a warm and inclusive atmosphere, where everyone is valued and respected and has a shared commitment to excellence in teaching and learning and personal and professional development.

We take a holistic approach to staff and pupil wellbeing, and this is a priority. We are very proud to have achieved the Schools Mental Health Silver Award, having created a school culture where pupils and staff have a ‘growth mindset’ are resilient and confident to fulfil their potential both in and outside of the classroom. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child receives the support and care they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Our school values underpin all aspects of school life: Respect - Resilience – Resourcefulness- Reflection - Responsibility - which support our high expectations of behaviour and achievement for everyone.

We offer our pupils an immersive and inspiring curriculum, which is constantly changing so it remains fresh, full of excitement and provides memorable moments whilst enabling pupils to gain a deep understanding in all subjects. The mixture of enrichment opportunities, academic, creative, sporting, and musical elements, championed by staff, ensures everyone has something to become excited about.

Our Vision is for pupils to leave West Ewell Primary School and Nursery ready for the next stage in their education, with a love of learning, strength of character and high aspirations for their future.

I hope our school website will give you a feel for what our school is like and the aims and values that are at the heart of what we do. If you would like to visit please contact us.
